What is the best part of your job?
What I like the most about my job is that every day is different (#ExpectUnexpected) because of environment’s dynamic & company’s cultural diversity. I love that I get to learn new things about the company/business/market/etc. everyday. On the personal level, I enjoy being internal consultant for my colleagues and interacting with people on all different levels of the organisation and across globe.
What is your current biggest challenge?
I think that for me as my colleagues the biggest challenge in the current geo-political climate is to stay calm, positive, and confident and prepared not only to answer any challenging questions that come our way, but also to turn these to advantage.
How do you see the Marketing Function evolving?
Generally, I observe that marketing function gained more importance. Other corporate functions understand better need to market products to gain more profits. They actually rely on marketing activity. This is because for every organisation a leading factor is a customer.
Share some tools and techniques you've learned in the past year?
My two favourite ones for creative process are mind mapping and check list. First one focuses on taking note of every idea that comes up and lately set critical selection process. With second one it’s important to include in creative process as much questions as possible in order to achieve final results e.g. why?, what? , where?, who?, how?, when?
What leadership techniques do you employ to motivate your team to achieve success?
I think the most important is to set up partnership approach, avoid punishment and promote positive team synergy instead negativity. Secondly, there should be always set clear goals and KPIs.
Who is your professional inspiration and why?
Personally, I have a huge respect for Richard Branson from Virgin because of his visionary approach, out of box thinking and positive energy about every project he touches. He’s a great example of entrepreneur who also understand that behind any success stand people.
What do you think about when you’re alone in your car?
I’m not driving but when I’m in tube I like to observe people and advertising. It makes me thinking how the world is changing quickly and what kind of new needs create the market.
